3. PKI Sr. Security Engineer (Venafi,ADCS) - onsite - Bloomfield, CT

• We are seeking a PKI Sr. Security Engineer with strong experience in Venafi TPP and ADCS (Active Directory Certificate Services). The role leads certificate management efforts and is responsible for administration of both internal and external certificates, ensuring secure identification of devices and encrypted data transmission. This is an engineering-focused position.

• Venafi TPP (Trust Protection Platform) – Must have
• ADCS (Active Directory Certificate Services)
• Proven experience troubleshooting, configuring, and upgrading Venafi TPP
• Minimum 5 years hands-on Venafi experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and upgrades for the certificate platform
• Manage incident requests
• Support consolidation of Venafi
• Administer certificates and deploy Venafi components
• Automate certificate processes using PowerShell or similar tools (preferred)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Systems or related field
• 2+ years hands-on PKI experience (Venafi, ADCS, Entrust, DigiCert, etc.)
• 4+ years Linux systems administration including package management
• 4+ years scripting experience (Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, Python preferred)
• Proficient in PKI technologies (code signing, CRL, CEP/CES, NDES)
• Extensive knowledge of SSL/TLS, cryptographic algorithms, certificate authorities, and truststores
• Security-related certification is a plus
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking concepts and familiarity with firewalls, hubs, routers, switches, DNS, gateways, and F5 load balancers
• Proficiency in UNIX and Windows systems
