ABAP Developer

• Seeking an experienced ABAP Developer to provide expert-level guidance on SAP-based business processes within an ERP environment. The role involves designing, configuring, and supporting SAP FI processes to manage general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash management, and posting period functionality. The candidate will work across multiple SAP modules to ensure smooth integration, performance optimization, and issue resolution.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of technical experience in software engineering, design, development, and implementation across multiple platforms
• 5+ years of experience in SAP disciplines with strong post-production support exposure
• Strong expertise in ABAP development and performance optimization

Experience resolving functional and technical integration issues across SAP modules

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Associate’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience may be considered in place of a bachelor’s degree
• Active DoD Secret Clearance required

Primary Responsibilities

• ABAP development, debugging, performance tuning, testing, and issue resolution
• Job scheduling, monitoring, and production support activities
• Handling defects, RFCs, workflow, and PI integration support
• Collaborating across SAP modules, especially SAP Financials and Supply Chain areas
• Supporting full SDLC activities including requirements, design, development, testing (unit, integration, regression, UAT), deployment, and post-production support

Preferred Skills

Experience with DoD or Navy ERP environments

• Federal project experience
• Understanding of IT change management processes
• Strong knowledge of SAP implementation lifecycle and support processes
