- Seeking an experienced AWS Glue Developer to support backend data systems focused on asset and cash flow processing across multiple business lines. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data solutions using AWS serverless technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain AWS Glue jobs for data processing and integration
- Work with AWS services including Lambda, Step Functions, S3, DynamoDB, ECS, and Fargate
- Perform system analysis, development, testing, and implementation of applications and databases
- Integrate multiple data sources, APIs, and third-party systems
- Optimize backend systems for performance, scalability, and reliability
- Develop and maintain backend documentation and architecture guidelines
- Implement best practices for security, data protection, and system resilience
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers
- Support CI/CD pipelines and automated testing (TDD/BDD)
- Provide production support and handle issue resolution
- Mentor junior team members and participate in code/design reviews
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS Glue (mandatory)
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, and Angular
Experience with AWS services: Lambda, S3, IAM, CloudFormation, ECS, Fargate
- Strong knowledge of SQL, database design, and performance tuning
Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub, Bitbucket, Bamboo)
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Splunk and Honeycomb
Experience with Python and Agile methodologies
Experience
- Minimum 5+ years in software development, backend architecture, and system integration
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent)
