Beaker Principal Trainer (Epic)

• Lead Epic Beaker training initiatives, ensuring laboratory and clinical staff are fully prepared to use the system efficiently and safely. Partner with clinical, operational, and informatics teams to maintain alignment with workflows, compliance, and organizational objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Epic Beaker training curriculum, materials, and eLearning content
• Conduct instructor-led, virtual, and at-the-elbow training for staff
• Maintain and validate training environments in alignment with system design
• Collaborate with analysts and informatics teams on workflow updates and optimization
• Mentor Credentialed Trainers (CTs) and Super Users
• Participate in system upgrades, training impact assessments, and go-live support
• Track training completion, effectiveness, and readiness metrics
• Ensure compliance with Epic training standards and organizational policies

Qualifications

• Epic-certified Principal Trainer with 5+ years of experience
• Required: Epic Principal Trainer certification in Beaker
• Highly desired: Epic Principal Trainer certification in Cogito

Skilled in creating and delivering presentations to diverse audiences

Experience in developing Epic training environments (3+ years preferred)
