- The Business Analyst will participate in all phases of the development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through implementation and ongoing support. The role involves collaborating with business teams to identify inefficiencies, analyzing and documenting requirements, and supporting system and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in requirements gathering, analysis, design, build, testing, implementation, and support.
- Collaborate with business teams to understand pain points through interviews, workshops, and process documentation.
- Elicit, analyze, and decompose business and user requirements into functional specifications and user stories.
- Act as liaison between business stakeholders and development teams to ensure alignment.
- Analyze and validate business systems and data for accuracy and integrity.
- Document business, functional, and technical requirements, including process flows.
- Complete source-to-target mappings/diagrams for data movement and reporting.
- Validate requirements against design standards, system guidelines, and best practices.
- Develop technical scopes of work and support project execution.
- Facilitate discussions to provide information for decision-making, including risks and dependencies.
- Communicate progress and outcomes to leadership and stakeholders.
- Collaborate effectively across geographies and manage competing priorities.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or Data Analyst.
- Strong experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and technical requirements.
- Ability to translate stakeholder needs into metrics, reports, and system requirements.
- Strong blend of technical expertise and business acumen.
- Excellent logical reasoning, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to manage priorities, adhere to schedules, and meet deadlines.
