Cyber Security Analyst 2

• The role involves supporting critical infrastructure information systems, ensuring appropriate security controls are in place, and assisting with the creation, revision, and management of Risk Management Framework (RMF) documentation. The analyst will also prepare or independently assess information systems for security compliance and effectiveness.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant IT field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in information security

Experience with Security Onion, ELK stack, and Threat Down

• Strong analytical skills for security analysis and incident response
• Ability to identify endpoint anomalies and malware exploitation techniques
• Understanding of social engineering tactics
• Capable of taking prompt action on security events and collaborating with team members or subject matter experts
• Hands-on experience in risk management, information security assessment, security architecture, and incident response
• Familiarity with NIST standards (Risk Management Framework or Cybersecurity Framework)
