Lead UX/UI Systems Designer

• We are seeking a Lead UX/UI Systems Designer to drive the design and implementation of enterprise applications. This role bridges strategy and execution, creating intuitive, user-centered solutions while leading design systems and collaborating with agile teams. The position involves on-site research and usability testing with end users.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale design systems and component libraries for consistency across applications.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Researchers, and Engineers; manage tasks in Jira.
• Create high-fidelity UI designs and prototypes with accessibility and technical constraints in mind.
• Conduct hands-on field research and usability testing to inform application improvements.
• Advocate for design decisions and guide stakeholders in complex enterprise environments.
• Participate in agile ceremonies to ensure alignment and continuous delivery.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in UX/UI design with enterprise application and design system experience.
• Expert in Figma, FigJam, Jira, and Confluence; strong understanding of front-end implementation.
• Local to Northeast Corridor (D.C., Wilmington, Philadelphia, or NYC) with ~25% travel.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven experience in agile environments and design handoff to engineering.
• Portfolio demonstrating user-centered design, high-fidelity execution, and scalable design systems.

Preferred: Experience in logistics, rail operations, or internal enterprise tools.
