Facility Overview

• The facility serves male, adjudicated youth in a secure residential environment. Staff work as part of a multidisciplinary medical treatment team to ensure the health and well-being of residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain general medical inventory, including controlled substances.
• Conduct medication administration accurately and safely.
• Review and evaluate overall health conditions of youth and implement nursing interventions.
• Ensure interventions align with comprehensive treatment plans.
• Participate in staff trainings.
• Prepare required clinical and administrative reports.
• Maintain infection control standards.
• Collaborate as a member of the facility’s medical treatment team.

Requirements

• Licensed and registered to practice nursing in New York State.
• Ability to work under supervision when providing care to youth.
• Business casual or scrubs attire.
