Operational AI/ML Engineer

• We are seeking an Operational AI/ML Engineer with strong experience in computer vision, AI/ML production, and traffic data analytics. The role involves building and deploying ML models on video data, particularly for real-time traffic monitoring and smart city initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Python: 1–3+ years production experience
• AI/ML Production: Built and deployed 1–3+ ML models serving real users
• Cloud Platforms: Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI for ML workloads
• DevOps: Docker and Kubernetes experience
• Databases: SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL/vector databases
• Scripting: Proficient in Bash and PowerShell
• CLI: 1–3+ years production experience working in terminal

Strongly Preferred

Experience with real-time traffic video analytics

• Exposure to smart intersections, ITS, or smart city initiatives
• Hands-on experience building computer vision systems for object detection in images/videos

Preferred Skills

• CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar)
• Production computer vision experience (PyTorch/TensorFlow, OpenCV, object detection, segmentation, real-time inference)
• Additional languages: Go or Rust for performance-critical components
• Feature stores (Feast, Tecton) or advanced feature engineering
• Model optimization: quantization, pruning, knowledge distillation
• Edge deployment or resource-constrained model deployment
• Experiment frameworks for A/B testing ML models
• Contributions to open-source ML projects
• Real-time streaming data processing (Kafka, Kinesis)
