Peoplesoft Test Engineer

• Seeking a skilled PeopleSoft Test Engineer to design, develop, and execute test strategies for PeopleSoft applications. The role involves ensuring the successful implementation and performance of PeopleSoft modules through both manual and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on functional and technical requirements for PeopleSoft applications (HCM, Financials, CRM, etc.)
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand system functionalities
• Identify and document test data requirements for manual and automated testing
• Execute test cases for system integration, functional, regression, and performance testing
• Conduct end-to-end testing to ensure applications meet business requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve defects and issues
• Develop and maintain test automation scripts using tools like Selenium, QTP, or PeopleSoft Test Framework
• Log, track, and manage defects using tools such as JIRA or ALM
• Conduct performance testing and monitor system performance
• Provide detailed test reports, including coverage, results, and defect trends
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist end-users in testing activities
• Assist project teams during deployment to ensure smooth production transitions

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of experience in PeopleSoft testing (HCM, FSCM, CRM, or other modules)

Required Skills

• Strong experience in manual and automated testing methodologies
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, QTP, or PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF)
• Deep understanding of PeopleSoft architecture, integrations, and module-specific functionalities
• Proficient in SQL queries for test data validation

Experience with performance testing tools like LoadRunner or JMeter (preferred)

• Familiarity with defect tracking tools (JIRA, HP ALM, etc.)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
