Peoplesoft Test Engineer

• We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented PeopleSoft Test Engineer with strong experience in manual and automation testing of enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop test plans and test cases based on functional and technical requirements for PeopleSoft applications (HCM, Financials, CRM, etc.)
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand system functionality
• Identify and manage test data requirements for manual and automated testing
• Execute functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, and performance testing
• Log, track, and manage defects using tools like JIRA or similar
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Selenium, QTP, or other automation frameworks
• Work with PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF) for automation testing
• Conduct SQL-based data validation for test scenarios
• Support performance testing using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner
• Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production deployment validation
• Prepare test reports, defect analysis, and testing documentation

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in PeopleSoft testing (HCM/FSCM/CRM or similar modules)
• Strong experience in manual and automation testing
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, QTP, and PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF)
• Strong SQL skills for data validation

Experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA, ALM, etc.)

• Good understanding of PeopleSoft architecture and integrations
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

Experience with Agile and DevOps environments

• Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Bamboo

Experience in performance testing tools

• PeopleSoft or testing-related certifications (ISTQB, Oracle, etc.)

Experience in cloud-based enterprise environments
