We are seeking a versatile Business Objects Security Programmer Analyst to support enterprise reporting, security administration, and data operations This role combines Business Objects (BO) administration, security management, SQL scripting, DevOps support, and Power Platform development. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in reporting environments, and the ability to support both technical operations and business users.
Key Responsibilities
Security Administration
Process and manage user access requests (new, updates, deletions) across systems
Administer security for Business Objects, Oracle databases, and enterprise content systems
Monitor and manage security-related mailboxes and requests
Track, audit, and archive security forms and activities
Enhance and maintain security request automation workflows
Business Objects (BO) Support
Provide primary support for Business Objects reporting issues and user inquiries
Maintain and update IDT universes, including structure changes and performance optimization Perform system health checks and generate BO health reports
Conduct report inventory cleanup and governance activities
Data Operations & DevOps
Validate and reconcile HR data loads and reporting outputs
Develop and maintain SQL queries and batch scripts for data processing and auditing
Support DevOps processes including deployments, version control, and automation
Power Platform Development
Maintain and enhance Microsoft Power Platform solutions, including:
Power BI dashboards
Power Apps
Power Automate workflows
Support automation initiatives to improve efficiency and data integration
Documentation & Operations
Document system processes, procedures, and policies
Maintain operational schedules and task tracking (monthly, quarterly, annual)
Ensure accurate tracking of activities and deliverables
Secondary Responsibilities
Provide backup support for .NET development projects
Assist with maintenance of Power Platform applications and workflows
Required Qualifications Strong experience with
Business Objects security and reporting
Universe design (IDT) and report deployment
Proficiency in
SQL and batch scripting
Data validation and reconciliation processes
Experience with
Access management and security audits
DevOps practices and deployment workflows
Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate)
Strong documentation, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
Ability to provide technical support to business users
Preferred Qualifications Experience with
Oracle-based data environments (MIDB or similar)
Enterprise content management systems (e.g., CMOD or similar)
