  • We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex healthcare IT and public health technology initiatives. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, leadership, and stakeholder management, with a focus on delivering interoperable, compliant, and scalable solutions. The ideal candidate will drive execution across cross-functional teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide executive-level visibility into project performance.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership & Delivery Lead daily stand-ups and coordinate cross-functional project activities Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets
  • Drive project execution to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery Identify, track, and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies Stakeholder & Executive Communication
  • Provide regular status updates to executive leadership via reports, presentations, and briefings Facilitate stakeholder meetings and maintain clear communication strategies Prepare dashboards, KPIs, and burn-up/burn-down metrics for leadership visibility Vendor & Partner Management
  • Collaborate with vendors and external partners to ensure alignment and successful delivery Manage expectations, deliverables, and performance across third-party providers Healthcare Interoperability & Compliance Coordinate efforts to meet interoperability goals across systems and platforms Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare privacy regulations Promote adoption of interoperability tools, workflows, and best practices Team Enablement & Leadership Foster a servant leadership culture, empowering teams and encouraging accountability Maintain a positive and motivating environment, even under tight or high-pressure timelines Drive transparency, predictability, and continuous delivery
  • Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of project management experience in healthcare IT or public health environments
  • Strong experience managing end-to-end project lifecycle (planning, execution, delivery)

Demonstrated experience working with

  • Public health systems, clinical systems, or healthcare IT infrastructure
  • Health data standards and interoperability initiatives

Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies

Technical familiarity with

  • Microsoft server environments
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with executive-level stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree in public health, Health Informatics, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP or CAPM certification strongly preferred

Experience with Oracle database environments

  • Master’s degree in public health, Health Informatics, or related field

Experience working with government or public sector health programs
