RN - Labor & Delivery

• Provides comprehensive nursing care to obstetric patients during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods. Responsible for monitoring maternal and fetal well-being, supporting delivery procedures, and ensuring safe, evidence-based care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor using clinical assessment and fetal monitoring techniques
• Assist physicians and midwives during labor and delivery procedures
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and epidural support as indicated
• Provide immediate postpartum care to mother and newborn
• Educate patients and families on labor processes, recovery, and newborn care
• Respond to obstetric emergencies and implement appropriate interventions
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to safety and quality standards

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Postpartum care experience required
• Strong competency in obstetric emergencies and fetal monitoring
• Ability to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
• Interview required prior to offer

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
