RN - Medical/Surgical Tele (MS/Tele)

• The Registered Nurse (RN) – MS/Tele provides comprehensive care to medical-surgical telemetry patients. This role involves conducting patient assessments, interpreting clinical data, and implementing appropriate nursing interventions to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate and efficient care in a telemetry setting
• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments, including full system reviews
• Develop, implement, and adjust patient care plans based on clinical needs
• Complete admission assessments within established timeframes
• Provide age-appropriate care based on developmental needs
• Monitor telemetry patients and respond promptly to clinical changes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care delivery
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care teams

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience

Experience with Cerner EMR system

• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
• Strong clinical assessment and telemetry monitoring skills

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
