RN - Medical/Surgical Tele (MS/Tele)

• The Registered Nurse (RN) – MS/Tele is responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care to medical-surgical telemetry patients. This role involves performing patient assessments, interpreting clinical data, and implementing appropriate nursing interventions while ensuring safe, efficient, and patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide competent, compassionate, and efficient care in a telemetry setting
• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments, including full system reviews and documentation
• Identify and interpret patient needs to develop and adjust care plans
• Complete admission assessments within required timeframes and in compliance with policies
• Deliver age-appropriate care based on patient growth and developmental needs
• Monitor telemetry patients and respond promptly to clinical changes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care
• Support patients, families, and the community through effective communication

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience

Experience with Cerner EMR system

• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
• Strong clinical assessment and telemetry monitoring skills
