- The Registered Nurse (RN) – MS/Tele is responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care to medical-surgical telemetry patients. This role involves performing patient assessments, interpreting clinical data, and implementing appropriate nursing interventions while ensuring safe, efficient, and patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Provide competent, compassionate, and efficient care to patients in a telemetry setting.
- Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments, including full system reviews and documentation.
- Identify and interpret patient needs to develop and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Complete admission assessments within established timeframes and in compliance with policies.
- Deliver age-appropriate care based on patient growth and developmental needs.
- Monitor telemetry patients and respond to clinical changes promptly.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Support patients, families, and the community through effective communication and care delivery.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
- Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience.
Experience with Cerner EMR system.
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
- Strong clinical assessment and telemetry monitoring skills.
Education Required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
