  • The Registered Nurse (RN) – MS/Tele is responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care to medical-surgical telemetry patients. This role involves performing patient assessments, interpreting clinical data, and implementing appropriate nursing interventions while ensuring safe, efficient, and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide competent, compassionate, and efficient care to patients in a telemetry setting.
  • Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments, including full system reviews and documentation.
  • Identify and interpret patient needs to develop and adjust care plans accordingly.
  • Complete admission assessments within established timeframes and in compliance with policies.
  • Deliver age-appropriate care based on patient growth and developmental needs.
  • Monitor telemetry patients and respond to clinical changes promptly.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Support patients, families, and the community through effective communication and care delivery.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience.

Experience with Cerner EMR system.

  • Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
  • Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
  • Strong clinical assessment and telemetry monitoring skills.

Education Required

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
