RN - Urology - Contract - MSH

• The Registered Nurse (RN) – Urology is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs. This role requires strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care by assessing, planning, and evaluating patient needs
• Apply critical thinking in clinical decision-making and care delivery
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, procedures, and post-care instructions
• Maintain clear and professional communication with patients, families, and team members
• Prioritize and manage multiple aspects of patient care effectively
• Identify and escalate safety concerns, risks, or gaps in care
• Accurately document nursing activities using institutional systems to support quality and performance improvement

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Urology nursing experience
• At least 1 year of travel nursing experience

Experience working in fast-paced clinical environments

Experience with Epic EMR system

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
