Software Engineer (Oracle PL/SQL)

• Seeking an experienced Software Engineer to design, build, and operate Oracle PL/SQL data structures, business logic, and data pipelines. Responsible for delivering features end-to-end, from design to production support. Must be skilled in creating testable, observable components, maintaining performance and scalability, and delivering high-quality code efficiently using VS Code Copilot and Claude Code. Must be fully productive on day one with PL/SQL and Jenkins. Healthcare and Medical Claims experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle: requirements gathering, analysis, design, build, testing, implementation, and ongoing support.
• Collaborate with business teams to understand pain points and inefficiencies through stakeholder interviews and workshops.
• Elicit, analyze, and translate business and user requirements into functional specifications and user stories.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and development teams.
• Analyze and validate business systems and data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Document business, functional, and technical requirements, including process flows.
• Complete source-to-target mappings/diagrams to support data movement, reporting, and downstream consumption.
• Rationalize and validate requirements against design standards, system guidelines, and best practices.
• Develop technical scopes of work and support project execution.
• Facilitate and document discussions for decision-making, including risks and trade-offs.
• Communicate progress, findings, and outcomes to leadership and stakeholders.
• Collaborate effectively across geographies and time zones to manage priorities and deliver quality outcomes.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related analytical field.
• 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or Data Analyst.
• Strong experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and technical requirements.
• Ability to interpret stakeholder needs into metrics, reports, and system requirements.
• Blend of technical expertise and business acumen, with sound judgment.
• Strong logical reasoning, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to manage priorities, adhere to schedules, and meet deadlines.

Preferred Experience

• Healthcare and Medical Claims domain experience is a plus.
• Hands-on with PL/SQL and Jenkins.
