- Looking for a Sr Data Engineer with strong expertise in SQL, data pipelines, and healthcare data (claims/enrollment/pharmacy). The ideal candidate will support data integration, data quality, and production environments, along with building scalable data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize complex SQL/PL-SQL queries
- Design and manage data pipelines, ETL workflows, and ingestion processes
- Ensure data quality, validation, and consistency
- Support data production, troubleshooting, and backend operations
- Build scalable and secure data architectures
- Collaborate with product owners, analysts, and engineering teams
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning (Agile/SAFe)
- Mentor junior team members and maintain SOP documentation
Required Skills
- 8+ years in Data Engineering / Data Analysis
- Strong SQL / PL-SQL (must-have)
Experience with healthcare data (claims, enrollment, pharmacy)
- Hands-on with ETL, data mapping, transformation, and ingestion
Experience in data quality, validation, and production support
- Familiarity with NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra, Neo4j)
- Exposure to Databricks, Spark, AWS/Azure, Snowflake, Hadoop
