  • We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst 3 – Cerner Millennium CCL & Data Transformation Led to support large-scale Electronic Health Record (EHR) migration initiatives. This role combines deep Cerner Millennium expertise, date transformation, and hands-on development to ensure clinical workflows and operational requirements are accurately translated into technical solutions.
  • You will work closely with clinical stakeholders, informatics teams, and technical delivery teams to support EHR modernization, data migration, reporting, and legacy system retirement efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and document clinical workflows across inpatient, outpatient, and ancillary settings Translate clinical and business requirements into technical specifications
  • Design, develop, test, and optimize Cerner Command Language (CCL) scripts Perform complex data extraction, validation, and reconciliation from Cerner Millennium (Oracle) databases Support enterprise-wide EHR migration and legacy system retirement Develop and maintain ETL processes, data feeds, and flat file extracts
  • Troubleshoot performance issues and resolve data/reporting challenges Act as liaison between clinical stakeholders and technical teams Communicate technical constraints to non-technical audiences Manage batch jobs and support production/non-production environments

Minimum Required Qualifications (11+ Years Experience)

  • Strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare operations

Experience supporting large-scale EHR implementations/migrations

  • Expertise translating clinical requirements into technical/data solutions
  • Advanced hands-on experience with Cerner Command Language (CCL)
  • Strong knowledge of Cerner Millennium architecture and Oracle databases

Experience with SQL, Linux, and data extraction/migration patterns

  • Proven experience designing and supporting ETL processes
  • Familiarity with healthcare data integration and reporting systems

Experience with REST/SOA development

  • Knowledge of distributed systems, networking, and performance tuning
  • Strong experience writing and optimizing CCL scripts in production
  • Programming experience in one or more: Java, C, C++, Python, Perl, OCI

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working directly in Cerner Millennium environments

Experience as a Senior Cerner Consultant or Technical Lead
