- Seeking a senior-level Technical Specialist with strong expertise in application development, architecture, and enterprise system integration. This role involves designing, supporting, and implementing complex solutions, with a focus on cloud-based POS systems and payment processing integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Integrate payment processing, inventory management, and customer-facing tools within a unified cloud platform
- Support implementation of cloud-hosted POS solutions
- Configure systems, set up environments, and perform integration testing
- Coordinate with vendors on technical requirements, defects, and deliverables
- Validate data flows, payment processing, and synchronization processes
- Document configurations, technical decisions, and project updates
- Support rollout activities, testing cycles, and issue resolution during deployment
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams (Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, Integrations, Database, Client Services)
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of IT experience in distributed web services and enterprise environments
- Strong experience with EMV, P2PE, and encryption technologies in POS systems
Experience in card payment and retail POS solutions
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server environments
- Expertise in Systems Integration, SOA, and Web Services
Experience integrating .NET applications with mainframe systems
- Proficiency in XML and JSON
- Strong understanding of .NET web and client applications
- Knowledge of Aurora Database, Reverse Proxy, Load Balancing, URL Rewrite
Experience providing production support
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint)
Cloud Experience
- 4+ years of experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
