Technical Specialist - Junior - ECM Solution Designer

• We are seeking a SharePoint Technical Specialist - Junior - ECM Solutions Designer. This is a non-development role focused on business analysis and solution design to support preconstruction business processes. The candidate will handle requirements gathering, solution design, documentation, QA testing, communication, and training while collaborating with team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment and support.

Key Responsibilities

• Design SharePoint and web-based solutions supporting preconstruction processes.
• Translate business and design requirements into detailed user stories.
• Prioritize, schedule, and deliver work independently.
• Manage communication, dependencies, and project status across initiatives.
• Document project and program deliverables.
• Maintain technical reference materials for internal use.
• Collaborate with business partners to improve or reengineer processes.
• Perform comprehensive QA testing, including system-level, workflow, scenario-based, and edge-case validation.
• Support deployment and implementation activities.
• Develop and deliver end-user training and documentation.
• Prototype, refine, troubleshoot, and validate solutions with business users.
• Provide quality control across technical and functional deliverables.
• Mentor team members and provide subject matter expertise as needed.

Required Skills (8+ years)

• Extensive experience as a Business Analyst in enterprise-level environments.
• Senior-level experience designing SharePoint and web-based solutions.
• Ability to work autonomously and drive tasks to completion with minimal oversight.
• Advanced SharePoint expertise: lists, libraries, content types, site structures, and web solutions.
• Strong background in comprehensive QA testing.

Experience designing, validating, and supporting web and workflow-based solutions.

• Strong analytical, conceptual thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and presentation skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).

Experience evaluating business processes and performing re-engineering.

Experience authoring structured documentation aligned with accessibility guidelines.

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and SDLC.

Experience as a SharePoint Designer or Site Owner.

Experience using Azure DevOps or similar work management tools.

Preferred Skills

Experience with wireframing tools such as Balsamiq.

Experience with Power BI and Power Applications.

Experience with ServiceNow.

Experience working with Microsoft Copilot agents.
