Business Analyst / Application Modernization Specialist

• Role Overview
• We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Application Modernization Specialist to support and enhance existing enterprise applications while contributing to modernization initiatives. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive improvements, manage system changes, and support migration to modern platforms.

• Key Responsibilities
• Partner with business and technical teams to support and enhance current applications
• Participate in application modernization and migration initiatives
• Coordinate, test, and implement changes to databases and applications
• Apply strong SQL and database knowledge for troubleshooting and enhancements
• Collaborate with senior team members and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
• Support ongoing system improvements aligned with business needs

• Required Qualifications
• Associate’s degree in Computer Programming or related field + 10 years of experience,
• OR
• Bachelor’s degree + 8+ years of experience

• Top Skills
• Strong understanding of S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) processes
• Proficiency in SQL and database management
• Excellent team collaboration skills

• Technical Skills
• Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases
• Solid knowledge of S&OP processes and workflows
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with application modernization or mainframe migration projects

• Familiarity with ServiceNow
• Exposure to ERP systems and/or IBM mainframe environments
