RN - Med Surg

• We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, clinically strong in medical-surgical nursing, and comfortable floating across units based on patient acuity.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical patients
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Perform clinical procedures including IV therapy, wound care, and post-operative care
• Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition promptly
• Float to units of equal or lesser acuity as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for care coordination and discharge planning
• Educate patients and families on treatment and recovery plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Follow hospital protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of Med Surg nursing experience
• Strong adaptability to float between units as needed
• Surgical floor experience preferred
• BSN required
