RN – Mother Baby

• We are seeking an experienced RN – Mother Baby to provide specialized nursing care for postpartum mothers and newborns, including high-risk cases, in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have strong maternal-newborn clinical expertise, experience in high-risk environments, and the ability to deliver compassionate, family-centered care in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to postpartum mothers and newborns, including high-risk patients
• Perform ongoing assessments of maternal and neonatal conditions
• Support postpartum recovery and newborn stabilization
• Educate families on newborn care, breastfeeding, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate care when necessary
• Manage patient assignments effectively in a dynamic acute care environment
• Follow all patient safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines

Requirements

Experience caring for high-risk mothers and newborns required

• Prior experience in a high-risk acute care facility required
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage multiple patients in a fast-paced setting

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
