  • We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Compensation & Planning to lead the strategy, design, and administration of incentive compensation programs for customer-facing teams. This role partners closely with leadership, Finance, HR, and Operations to create scalable compensation frameworks that align business goals with employee performance, drive retention, and support organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, modeling, and administration of incentive compensation plans for commission and non-commission roles
  • Develop competitive, equitable compensation frameworks aligned with business objectives
  • Partner cross-functionally with HR, Finance, Operations, and Technology teams to ensure seamless compensation execution
  • Manage annual compensation plan refresh cycles, including KPI alignment, quota methodologies, communication, and rollout
  • Conduct scenario modeling and analytics to assess payout trends and compensation effectiveness
  • Provide leadership with strategic insights and recommendations on incentive performance and planning improvements
  • Serve as escalation point for compensation disputes, plan interpretation, and exception handling
  • Recommend spot bonuses and targeted incentives based on business priorities and performance trends
  • Ensure compensation plans remain compliant, scalable, and operationally efficient

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in compensation, sales/revenue operations, or related field
  • Proven experience designing and managing incentive compensation programs, especially for post-sale or customer success teams
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling expertise
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and BI/reporting tools such as Power BI
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear executive-level insights
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with senior business stakeholders
  • Excellent project management and multitasking abilities in fast-paced environments

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting large-scale compensation planning in matrixed organizations
  • Strong understanding of KPI development and performance incentive strategy
