RN - CVOR

• We are seeking an experienced RN – CVOR to provide specialized perioperative nursing care in a cardiovascular operating room setting. The ideal candidate will have strong cardiac scrub experience and expertise in supporting complex cardiac surgical procedures in a high-acuity surgical environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care for cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Perform cardiac scrub duties during open heart and related surgeries
• Maintain sterile field and ensure adherence to surgical protocols
• Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and equipment for procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical team members
• Monitor patient status and respond to intraoperative needs
• Ensure accurate documentation of surgical procedures and patient care
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergency surgical cases
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety, and infection control standards

Requirements

• Cardiac scrub experience required
• Strong knowledge of CVOR workflows and sterile technique
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environment
• Flexibility to work various shift lengths (8, 10, or 12 hours)
• Availability for on-call rotation, including weekend coverage
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
