Summary

  • We are seeking an IT Support Contractor to provide end-user support across a global enterprise environment. This role involves hands-on troubleshooting across Windows workstations, servers, email systems, networking, and hardware, ensuring seamless IT operations and high customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will take ownership of service requests, resolve technical issues independently, and collaborate across teams in a fast-paced support environment.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Provide end-to-end IT support for global users, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests
  • Troubleshoot and support Windows Workstations (Windows 10/11) and basic Windows Server issues
  • Manage and resolve issues related to Microsoft Exchange (email, mailboxes, configurations)
  • Diagnose and fix PC hardware, desktop OS, and peripheral issues
  • Perform basic Linux system support and troubleshooting
  • Support network connectivity issues, including switches, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
  • Assist with telecommunications systems (VoIP, phones, conferencing tools)
  • Own and manage incident tickets, ensuring SLA compliance and proper documentation
  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams following defined processes
  • Deliver excellent customer support, ensuring high user satisfaction

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in IT Support / Service Desk / Desktop Support roles
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS (Workstation & basic Server support)
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Exchange / email systems
  • Solid understanding of PC hardware, laptops, and peripherals
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, switches)
  • Exposure to Linux systems

Experience with ticketing systems and incident management

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
